TDK has launched a shock-resistant 125V axial aluminum electrolytic capacitor.

In response to the growing market demand for small-sized, high ripple current DC bus capacitor modules, TDK

has expanded its range of axial lead / star-shaped aluminum electrolytic capacitor products.

This update includes two major actions: one is to add 125V specifications for the B43693/B43793 series (voltage

range 125V - 250V); the other is to upgrade the performance of the existing B41687/B41787 series (voltage range

 25V - 63V) at 63V product line.

The products are compatible with battery voltage systems ranging from 48V to 120V, and are applicable to

applications such as small electric vehicles, micro transportation vehicles, forklifts, electric ships, humanoid robots,

 and other industrial equipment.

The B41687/B41787 series can operate at a maximum temperature of 150°C, with capacitance ranging from 510

microfarads to 4800 microfarads.

TDK officials stated:

"All four series have low equivalent series resistance (ESR) and high ripple current carrying capacity, which can

reduce power loss in the DC bus circuit of the inverter and improve heat dissipation efficiency."

"The product mechanical structure can adapt to harsh working conditions, with a standard vibration resistance

grade of 20g and customizable up to 60g vibration resistance specifications; the axial lead and star-shaped

terminal structures support diverse installation methods, allowing for horizontal or vertical assembly on printed

circuit boards and bus bars."

TDK claims that if the B43693/B43793 series 125V capacitors are optimally assembled with heat sinks, their ripple

current carrying capacity can be increased by more than twice the standard value, thereby reducing the size of the

capacitor module and lowering the overall cost.
